Our focus at M R MONK is accuracy and customer satisfaction. We work closely with providers, staff and patients to ensure that all of their questions are answered and their needs and concerns are addressed.

We have been in business since 2008 and have well established clients that we have worked with closely over the years.

About Monica Monk

Upon completion of Medical Billing and Coding School at Sanford Brown Institute in 2006, I was hired on at a Dermatology (Moh’s Surgery) Practice to work in their four (4) person billing department. I absorbed everything I was taught and soon began to take on not only my daily work, but other tasks such as reviewing and billing out all of the charges for the practice as well as the for the in house laboratory. I also assisted in set up of EMR which was fairly new at the time. In the two (2) years I was there, I learned everything there was to full service billing. But I wanted more… I wanted to prove to myself that I could run a billing department by myself, so I left the Dermatology Practice and began to work solo for 2 other doctors and found out I could do it ~ successfully!

Success Story

We took over one practice with a large uncollected Account Receivable that affected their cash flow. Since we began their billing, they have grown from a solo practice to having 4 locations.

Another Success Story

In early 2011 M R Monk was hired to take over the billing for a large pain management provider. M R Monk worked diligently with this provider to ensure that his medical necessity was met as Pain Management has many regulations & he was an out of network provider. By October of the same year, the provider’s cash flow was substantially greater than his 2010 cash flow.
